Each of these exhibitions showcases the profound richness and diversity of Hispanic-American cultures, offering a nuanced exploration of identity, heritage, and contemporary artistic expression. The overarching program was conceived by Nubia Abají, a visionary curator whose expertise and dedication were instrumental in shaping the exhibition's narrative. Abají was also responsible for the meticulous selection of artists participating in the MoCAA exhibition, each chosen for their unique ability to convey deeply personal and culturally resonant stories through their work. Unbound by external constraints, the artists were free to create from the depths of their individual visions, guided solely by the dictates of their soul. This approach not only honored their creative autonomy but also allowed for an authentic and unfiltered dialogue between the artists and their audiences. The resulting collection of works formed a vibrant tapestry of voices, each distinct yet harmoniously interconnected, embodying the very spirit of The Bright Foundation and HISPAFEST.

In 2022, The Bright Foundation, formerly known as Hispafest, reinstated its registered name for all annual endeavors. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, its mission remains to promote art and culture in the region. By supporting emerging and mid-career artists, it unites the multicultural society through the universal language of art.
Established in 2018 by director and philanthropist Nubia Abaji during a pilot entrepreneurship program, the foundation has been dedicated to fostering artistic expression. Through the "Impact Miami" program at Miami Dade College's Idea Center, Abaji collaborated with artists, curators, and art professionals to create exhibition spaces. These venues provide opportunities for artists—predominantly immigrants or second and third-generation descendants—to showcase their work and receive institutional support, guiding their career advancement and fostering community cohesion through art.
While The Bright Foundation inclusively promotes the culture of all coexisting countries, Hispafest remains the designation for events exclusively dedicated to Hispanic art and culture, featuring Hispanic-American artists. A prime example is the annual Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, during which various exhibitions are held in September and October.
