Monica Batard (b. Havana, Cuba 1979) is a contemporary visual artist living in Havana, Cuba. She is best known for her kaleidoscopic thread-like drawings and paintings, mimicking embroidery on a dark background. She is currently working between her native Cuba and the United States.
