Vicente Dopico (b. Havana, Cuba, 1943). He received a Bachelor of Art (1974) and a Master in Science (1976) both from St. Thomas University. He also studied at the Art Student League (New York). Dopico has participated at several solo and group exhibitions in the United States and abroad such as, “El caos y la imagen” (Museo de las Américas, San Juan, Puerto Rico), “Aguardando a que escapen los demonios” (Convento San Francisco de Asís, Havana), “Memorias del XX” (Museo de Arte Moderno, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic). He was recipient of a Cintas Foundation Fellowship (New York).
