Ronaldo Encarnación is a Cuban contemporary visual artist, currently living and working in Miami, FL. In his native Cuba, he attended the Vocational Art School and the National School of Fine Arts in Havana. From 1994-1998 he worked as a professor of Painting and Drawing at the Professional Fine Arts School of Pinar del Río, Cuba. He has since then been a part of many group and solo exhibitions, both in the United States and abroad. He is the receiver of several awards such as the CTC, XIV Fine Arts Showcase. Fine Arts Center, Pinar del Río. Cuba; The I Award, Municipal Showcase, December 14th, Pinar del Río, Cuba, and the Mention, XIII Fine Arts Showcase, Visual Arts Center, Pinar del Río, Cuba. His work is now in several public and private collections around the world.
