Karla Kantorovich was born and raised in Mexico City. She received her bachelor’s degree from Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico and completed her MFA in Visual Arts from Florida International University (FIU) in 2019. She has participated in solo and group exhibitions at many institutions in Miami, where she currently lives and works, including the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum; Doral Contemporary Art Museum; Michael Ann Russel, Jewish Community Center; and Consulado General de México. Her work has been also featured in multiple international platforms such as the XIX Bienal Rufino Tamayo at Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, Oaxaca; 11st International Biennial of Contemporary Art, Florence; and National Wet Paint MFA Biennial, Chicago.
