Evelio Lecour (b. in Havana, Cuba) Lecour graduated from the National School of Art in Havana, Cuba. Post graduate studies in Sculpting at the Camaguey Art School in Cuba. Lecour was a Professor of Sculpting and Art Drawing in San Alejandro School of Arts for a number of years and has had major art exhibits in the coveted Bienal Exhibition at Faenza, Italy and the International Art Exhibit at Vallauris, France. He has also had exhibits at the most prestigious galleries in Bulgaria, Hungary, Italy, Spain and the United States. His work, which includes paintings, drawings, murals and sculptures, is currently on permanent display at notable galleries in Miami, Miami Florida, in eminent museums of France and Czechoslovakia and prestigious private collections. His murals and sculptures can also be seen on permanent display at the Museum of Galicia, Spain, Pontevedra Builder’s Association lobby in Spain, Royal Caribbean’s recreational lobby in the U.S., Nacional Hotel’s main lobby in Havana, and the Museo de la Ceramica and the Fine Arts Museum of Cuba.
