Dr. Carol Damian is a renowned scholar and curator whose career has significantly shaped the study and visibility of Latin American art in the United States. Former Director and Chief Curator of the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum at Florida International University, she has authored numerous essays, exhibition catalogues, and books that explore the intersections of identity, history, and aesthetics in the art of the Americas. Her collaboration in the presentation added critical depth and historical context to the discussion of Ferrer’s work.

This third edition of Ivonne Ferrer. Recent Works, 2014–2025 builds upon the success of the previous volumes, expanding both its scope and its scholarly framework. The book, a major editorial endeavor of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Americas (MoCAA) and The Rodríguez Collection, offers an in-depth visual and analytical overview of Ferrer’s oeuvre over the past decade. Spanning 340 pages, it includes newly added sections and updated essays that trace the evolution of her multidisciplinary practice—from collage and painting to sculpture and ceramic installation—underscoring the consistency of her conceptual inquiry and the refinement of her visual language.
