By the Rodriguez Collection team

The Museum of Contemporary Art of the Americas (MoCAA) continues to strengthen its contacts and exchanges with Yucatán's artistic and cultural community. On this occasion, Leonardo Rodríguez and Ivonne Ferrer, directors of the Florida-based institution, visited the Los Ceibos Arte Maya workshop in Muna, south of Mérida, where artisan Patricia Martín Morales works. For more than 40 years, she has been creating replicas of pre-Hispanic vessels.

The pieces of this renowned artist, who inherited her artisanal knowledge and skills from her family, have already been exhibited in several museums in countries such as the Netherlands, France, and Russia, as well as in cities including New York and Los Angeles.
