A representative group of students from the Visual Arts campus of the School of Architecture, Habitat, Art and Design of UADY visited the exhibition «Colección MoCAA en Yucatán», currently on display at the Museo de la Ciudad de Mérida.

The tour was led by art critic and curator David Mateo, MoCAA representative in Mexico. Also taking part were Cuban artists Arturo Montoto and Enrique Miralles (Tente), who are among the creators included in the curatorial project and form part of the Rodríguez Collection. UADY professor and artist Javier Barrera was also present.
The students and professors showed interest in learning about the curatorial criteria of the exhibition, the arguments supporting each section of the group show and the specific details about the artists included, their conceptual foundations and their technical procedures.

Arturo Montoto and Enrique Miralles (Tente) provided valuable information about their works included in the exhibition, shared facts and anecdotes related to their training and artistic careers, and offered important advice to the young creators in training.
