Artist Ivonne Ferrer recently printed three engravings of her own authorship at the Praxis Havana workshop, based in Mérida, Yucatán, and coordinated by Cuban artist and professor Enrique Miralles (Tente), taking advantage of her official invitation to Mérida to take part in the program of activities for the 53rd Anniversary of the School of Architecture, Habitat, Art and Design of UADY.

The graphic works are titled “La huella de lo dicho,” “Geografía de la partida” and “Anatomía del espacio interior,” and were made using the drypoint technique, which has reached a high level of refinement at the Yucatecan workshop.
Two of the engravings made by Ivonne Ferrer, with the technical assistance of Tente, are on display in the exhibition “Colección MoCAA en Yucatán,” currently presented at the Museo de la Ciudad de Mérida, which brings together a selection of works belonging to the Rodríguez Collection. The third engraving is part of the pieces selected for the solo exhibition “Geometrías habitadas. Cuerpo, espacio y arquitectura en la obra de Ivonne Ferrer,” on view simultaneously at the gallery of the CAHAD Library, which belongs to UADY.
