Cuban artist Ivonne Ferrer welcomed to her studio in Florida the Cuban American photographer and educator Gary A. Añuez. Collector and director of MoCAA, Leonardo Rodríguez, also took part in this friendly conversation about projects and possible collaborations. Both thanked Gary for his visit and expressed to the artist their joy at his recovery.

Gary A. Añuez was born in Isla de la Juventud, Cuba, in 1968. He trained at the National Academy of Art in Havana and later at the Higher Institute of Art (ISA), where he pursued studies related to sculpture and drawing. Based in Miami, he has developed a career that combines artistic practice with teaching and cultural management. He is the founder of B.W. Art Studio, cofounder of Miami Lakes Art Academy, and has served as an art teacher and director of education.

Gary Añuez Fine Art Photography, his photographic production project, focuses especially on urban and natural landscapes, architecture, everyday spaces and scenes of life in Florida, exploring the relationships between light, shadow, geometry and perception. His work is also part of MoCAA's Rodríguez Collection, where he is registered among the artists who make up this collection.
