MoCA Americas announces the launch of its own art magazine, a new semiannual publication conceived as an editorial platform where curatorial thought, exhibitions, collection, and institutional collaborations converge. The magazine emerges as a natural extension of the museum’s recent work, offering a structured, critical, and coherent reading of its activities in dialogue with the art of the Americas and its international contexts.
Published twice a year, MoCA Americas Magazine is conceived as a semiannual editorial cut: an elegant and methodical reorganization of exhibitions, programs, collaborations, institutional news, and visual materials already produced by the museum, articulated within a clear and contemporary editorial framework. Each issue will also incorporate newly commissioned content, including in-depth artist interviews and focused studies of selected works from the collection, reinforcing the publication’s reflective and documentary character.

Beyond its value as a record of institutional activity, the magazine positions itself as a resource for artists, curators, researchers, and engaged audiences interested in the processes, contexts, and conceptual lines shaping the museum’s work. Initially released in digital format, with subsequent print-on-demand editions, the publication seeks to expand accessibility while consolidating a stable and sustained editorial presence.
Looking ahead, MoCA Americas Magazine aims to function as a platform for exchange with peer institutions, affiliated publications, and critical voices from both local and international spheres. Emphasis will be placed on collaboration, dialogue, and thoughtful contribution, assembling diverse perspectives without sacrificing rigor or coherence. The magazine is thus conceived not as a one-off initiative, but as a long-term editorial project aligned with the museum’s broader vision.
