The Museum of Contemporary Art of the Americas (MOCA Americas) is one of the sponsors of the Doral International Art Fair 2026, taking place November 12–15 at the Doral Cultural Arts Center, located at 8363 NW 53rd St, Doral, Florida. Admission is free, but advance registration is required through Ticketplate.
The fair was introduced at a cocktail reception at Banesco USA, attended by Doral Mayor Christi Fraga and fair director Jesús Alberto Fuenmayor. With music, food, and drinks, the evening offered a warm opportunity to connect with friends and representatives of different nationalities, cultural institutions across South Florida, and the business community. Artists, art critics, and other Miami figures were also in attendance.

During the event, Mayor Christi Fraga presented Leonardo Rodríguez with a Congratulatory Certificate on behalf of the Doral City Council and its residents. The certificate recognizes his contributions to the arts and culture, particularly his dedication to promoting artistic expression, fostering cultural appreciation, and enriching the community through the arts. It also highlights the value of his work in strengthening the city’s cultural identity.

The DIAF is curated by Adriana Meneses, Félix Suazo, and Luis Gómez, who are responsible for selecting and presenting the fair’s artistic offerings. As in previous years, galleries from Miami and other U.S. cities will take part, presenting works of art in painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, installations, and other forms.
The program will include book presentations, panel discussions, talks, music, and other activities at the venue. Beyond its commercial dimension, the fair offers a place for gathering, cultural dialogue, and community engagement, where visitors can discover new perspectives and experience the diversity of contemporary art.

Among the curatorial projects is an international exhibition curated by Hernán Pacurucu, director of the Cuenca Biennial. He also curates the Bienal Nómada exhibition, which opens November 7 at MOCA Americas. A group of artists participating in the Bienal Nómada exhibition will also be included in another selection curated specifically by Pacurucu for the DIAF.
Based in Miami, MOCA Americas works to preserve, research, and share the art of Cuba, the Caribbean, and Latin America, while fostering exchange among artists and institutions. Its sponsorship supports an initiative that brings diverse cultures, histories, and artistic expressions together in Doral.
